Specialized reducer for dryers

What kinds of faults might occur with the gears of the dedicated reducer for the dryer? 

The gears of the main reducer of the dryer may suffer from various faults such as flaking, pitting, nodular corrosion, cracks, or peeling damage. The main reasons for these failures are as follows. 

The dryer cylinder vibrates too much, causing excessive impact force and leading to an overloaded operation. 

2. The oil viscosity is insufficient, and the oil is dirty. There are also foreign objects between the teeth. 

3. The smooth surface of the gears is prone to fatigue and lacks sufficient strength. 

4. Poor gear meshing, uneven force application on one side. 

When dealing with it, the first step is to clean the old oil and replace it with lubricating oil of higher viscosity; promptly adjust and grind the gears to ensure good meshing, so that the force is evenly distributed. When cracks and peeling damage are found, the reducer gears should be replaced as soon as possible.
