The main components of the cylindrical gear reducer include: the housing, bearings, gear shaft, gear set, air vent valve and oil level indicator. The rotational speed of the prime mover is transmitted to the first gear through the coupling and mesh with the intermediate gear. Since the teeth of the two gears are different, the intermediate gear can achieve the effect of deceleration or acceleration. Then the intermediate gear meshes with the second gear to transfer the speed, and finally the required speed is obtained on the output shaft of the reducer.
