Mine hoist reducer

The reducer is a very important component in the mechanical system of the mine hoist. Its function is to transmit motion and power (reduce speed and increase torque). The mine hoist usually operates continuously in three shifts. During operation, there will be a small amount of impact, and the start-up and braking are very frequent, as well as forward and reverse operation. Its load type belongs to the medium impact load. 

The reducer used for mine hoisting must meet the requirements of the following standards: 

The gear accuracy of the reducer should comply with the provisions of GB/T 10095.1 and GB/T 10095.2. 

② The cleanliness of the reducer lubricating oil is determined by the amount of dirt filtered through a 0.075mm sieve, which should not exceed 3.4mg (a is the sum of the center distances of each level of the reducer, in mm). 

③ The temperature rise of the reducer bearings should not exceed 40℃, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 75℃. The temperature rise of the lubricating oil inside the box should not exceed 35℃. 

④ The sealing parts of the reducer and the lubrication station should not have any oil leakage. 

According to the failure statistics, in gear reducers, gear failure accounts for approximately 60% of the total failures, while the rest are bearing failure, lubricant leakage, deformation of the housing, and vibration of the reducer during use. 

When a reducer malfunctions, it usually manifests as loud noise and significant vibration. When the lubrication system fails, it typically shows high oil temperature, low or high oil pressure. When these abnormal conditions occur in the reducer, one should closely observe and inspect the gearbox, promptly identify the location of the fault, and handle it appropriately based on the fault situation.
