The efficient processing method for sector-shaped worm gears includes the following steps: divide the worktable into an effective processing area and an ineffective processing area. The effective processing area is the region between one end and the other end of the sector-shaped workpiece; the ineffective processing area is the region outside the effective processing area. By controlling the program, the milling cutter processes the sector-shaped workpiece. When the worktable is in the effective processing area, it rotates at the required speed according to the control program to cooperate with the milling cutter; when in the ineffective processing area, it rotates rapidly to quickly reach one end of the sector-shaped workpiece. This invention enables the worktable to adopt different rotation speeds in the effective processing area and the ineffective processing area through the control program, thereby improving the processing efficiency of the sector-shaped workpiece. With this efficient processing method, it saves approximately 50% of time compared to traditional processing methods, significantly shortens the processing time and saves energy, creating high economic value.
